High-speed extrusion line optimized for thin-gauge PP sheets from 0.5mm to 3mm. Delivers up to 600kg/h throughput with precise thickness control for packaging, printing and thermoforming applications.
The High-Speed Thin Sheet Extrusion Line model BC-EL200 is purpose-engineered for producing thin-gauge polypropylene sheets in the 0.5mm to 3.0mm thickness range. This specialized extrusion system achieves throughput rates up to 600kg/h while maintaining tight thickness tolerances of plus or minus 2 percent.
The line features a single-screw extruder with barrier-flight screw design optimized for PP homopolymer and copolymer resins. A precision melt gear pump ensures consistent output pressure, while the three-roll vertical calender stack provides superior surface finish and thickness uniformity.
Thin sheet production demands exceptional melt quality and temperature stability. The BC-EL200 incorporates a dedicated melt filtration system with automatic screen changer, maintaining melt cleanliness for pinhole-free sheet output. Each heating zone features independent PID control with plus or minus 1 degree Celsius accuracy.
The sheet winding system supports both friction center winding and surface winding modes, accommodating roll diameters up to 1000mm. Automatic tension control and edge guiding ensure consistent roll quality throughout the production run.
Typical applications include packaging sheets for stationery and file folders, thermoforming blanks for disposable containers, printing base sheets for labels and tags, and protective interleaving sheets for industrial packaging. The line can also produce textured surface sheets through optional embossing rolls.
